ವಿಷಯ ಹೀಗಿದೆ: ಅಲ್ಟ್ರಾಟೆಕ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಎಂಬ ಕಂಪನಿ, ಹೊಸದೊಂದು ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಕಾರಿ ಜೆಲ್ ಒಂದನ್ನು ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಹೆಂಗಸರ ಯೋನಿಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಹದಿನೆಂಟರ ಪ್ರಾಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ(!) ಮಾಡುವಂತಹ, "18 Again" ಎಂಬ ಈ ಜೆಲ್ ಭಾರತದ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಹೊಸದು. ಬಾಲಿವುಡ್ ನಟಿ ಸೆಲಿನಾ ಜೇಟ್ಲಿ ಈ ಜೆಲ್ ನ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಯೂ ಟ್ಯೂಬ್ ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಈ ಜಾಹೀರಾತು ಸದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಹವಾ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸ್ತಾ ಇದೆ.ಅಲ್ಟ್ರಾಟೆಕ್ ಎಂ.ಡಿ ರಿಶಿ ಭಾಟಿಯಾ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಹೆಂಗಸರ "ಸಬಲೀಕರಣ" ಕ್ಕೆಈ ಜೆಲ್ ಸಹಕರಿಸಲಿದೆಯಂತೆ!!
ವಿದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ಜೆಲ್ ಗಳು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಪ್ರಚಲಿತದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ಜೆಲ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎನ್ನುವದನ್ನು ಕಾದು ನೋಡಬೇಕಿದೆ.
ವಿದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ಜೆಲ್ ಗಳು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಪ್ರಚಲಿತದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ಜೆಲ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎನ್ನುವದನ್ನು ಕಾದು ನೋಡಬೇಕಿದೆ.

would be interesting to know how many women will actually dare go to a drug store and buy this themselves (!?). neither they are going to allow their hubbies (if they have any) to get it for them coz its gonna be a lose-lose (or 'loose-loose' to be precise) situation for them in either way. which woman (or a man) would like to announce it to the world that her (his) muscles are not as firm as they used to be?? forget buying this, many of them don't even step out to buy the must-needed sanitary pads. also, it has all the potential to arise some serious moral issues - similar to hymenoplasty. in such a case the result would be that the product is gonna do miserably in the indian market.
and the ad is so pathetic. its such a great new concept and they could've done it in so many amazing ways. for instance, ... well, let it be ;-)
however, i'm wondering how come there hasn't been any protest from the women's rights activists against this product yet...

ನಾನು ಈ ಬ್ಲಾಗ್‍ನ್ನು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಜೆಲ್ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬರೆಯಬೇಕೆನಿಸಿತು. ನಾನು ಒಂದು ಮೆಡಿಕಲ್ ಸ್ಟೋರ್‌ನ ಮಾಲೀಕ. ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಈ ಜೆಲ್‍ನ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ರೆಪ್ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಜೆಲ್ನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅಂಗಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡಿ ಎಂದ. ಆದರೆ ಅದರ ಬೆಲೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ಗೊತ್ತೇ? ಸುಮಾರು ಎರಡೂವರೆ ಸಾವಿರ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳು. (೨೫೦೦.೦೦). ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ಈ ಜೆಲ್ ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳಷ್ಟೇ ಉಪಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವುದು. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಜೆಲ್‍ನ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಬೇಕಾದರೆ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಎಂದರೂ ೩ ತಿಂಗಳು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಬೇಕಂತೆ. ಅಂದರೆ ಸುಮಾರು ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳು ಬೇಕು ಈ ಜೆಲ್‍ನ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ತಿಳಿಯಬೇಕಾದರೆ.
ಭಾರತದಂತಹ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ನ್ಯಾಪ್ಕಿನ್ ಪ್ಯಾಡ್ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮುಂದೆ ನೋಡುವ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿರಬೇಕಾದರೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಈ ಜೆಲ್ನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರು ಎಷ್ಟು ಜನ ಇರಬಹುದು ಹೇಳಿ. (ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ಟಿವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹ ಇದರ ಜಾಹೀರಾತು ಇಲ್ಲ.)
